Christmas Minis are back!! This is not a drill!! These 10 minute time slots fill up so fast every year because who doesn’t want Christmas photos!? We have two different dates and locations this year and both are sure to be beautiful. If you have not signed up yet but would like to, the links to grab a spot are at the bottom of the page! Let’s get into what the sets will look like and what to expect!

Our first set is at The Lumen Room in Houston, TX on October 26th. I shot some minis at this set last year and absolutely loved the cozy at home vibe, so we had to bring it back for year two! This brown couch paired with the lit green Christmas trees is a perfect neutral backdrop. I would recommend wearing neutrals to this set with metallic touches or pops of deep red or green!

Parking at The Lumen Room is made easy with their building having a large lot at the the entrance. This studio room is to the right when you walk inside.

Our second location is at The Oak Atelier in Conroe, TX on Nov 26th. This is a Tuesday during the Thanksgiving week, so it is perfect for families who are all together for the holiday! I love shooting at The Oak Atelier because the owners are great and they always keep a clean and beautiful studio. This set is absolutely stunning with it’s white flocked trees and greenhouse setting!

Again, I always recommend wearing neutrals to these sets, however, you can absolutely get away with more color here as the set itself is very light and airy! As a rule of thumb, the more people that are in your photos, the less color you want to add. A photo can get really busy and overwhelming with all the different patterns and textures.

Parking is also very easy at The Oak Atelier. There is a lot right inside the gates with plenty of spots. You will see a greenhouse in between the white buildings, this is where we will be! Remember to always arrive early to your mini session, but don’t physically walk up to the set until a minute or two before your slot. With there only being 10 minutes, you don’t want to miss a single one!
